1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Reside, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the platform.

2. About Reside

Reside is a software platform designed to help recovery residences and sober living homes manage daily operations, including but not limited to:

Chore tracking and assignment
Meeting attendance logging
Announcements and scheduling
General resident accountability and compliance tracking

Important: Reside is provided as a tool to support structure and organization. It is not a medical, clinical, or treatment service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reside. By using the platform, you represent that:

You are authorized to use it within your organization, or
You have been granted access by a house manager or administrator

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You agree not to:

Share your login credentials with others
Impersonate another user
Attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Reside only for its intended purposes. You may not:

Use the platform for unlawful activity
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the system
Reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the platform or its underlying code
Upload malicious code or harmful content

6. Data and Privacy

Reside stores and processes user data to provide its services. By using the platform, you acknowledge that:

Your data may be visible to authorized administrators within your organization
Data is used to support tracking, reporting, and operational features of the platform
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data

7. No Medical or Legal Advice

Reside is not a healthcare provider and does not offer medical advice, clinical services, or legal guidance. Any decisions made based on information within Reside — including compliance scores, toxicology logs, or attendance records — are the sole responsibility of the user or organization.

Reside data should not be used as a substitute for professional medical, clinical, or legal judgment.

8. Availability of Service

We aim to provide reliable access to Reside, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Reside if these Terms are violated, if the platform is misused, or if termination is necessary for security or operational reasons. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately.

10. Intellectual Property and Platform Protection

All rights, title, and interest in and to Reside — including but not limited to its software, design, structure, workflows, features, user interface, content, and underlying technology — are and shall remain the exclusive property of Reside and its owner, Putnam Media Group LLC.

Reside is provided as a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for use solely in accordance with these Terms.

You may not, directly or indirectly:

Copy, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display any portion of the platform
Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on Reside
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code
Access the platform to build a competing product or service
Replicate or exploit the structure, workflows, or functionality of the platform
Use automated systems to scrape, extract, or collect data from the platform

Any unauthorized use of Reside or its underlying systems may result in immediate termination of access and may subject the offending party to legal action.

All trademarks, service marks, and branding associated with Reside are the property of their respective owner and may not be used without prior written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reside and Putnam Media Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Use of Reside is at your own risk.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reside, Putnam Media Group LLC, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or unauthorized use of accounts.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
